美國國務卿蓬佩奧昨天在媒體簡報會中表示：「今天我要呼籲所有國家，包括歐洲各國，支持台灣以觀察員身分參與世界衛生大會，以及其他聯合國場域，我也呼籲世衛秘書長譚德塞邀請台灣參加這個月的世界衛生大會，因為他有權這麼做，而他的前任也多次這麼做了。」
